The Google Cloud
Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the
use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software
infrastructure. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing
business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes use
technology to connect with customers, employees and partners.
As a member of
the Google Cloud team, you will inspire businesses to become more productive
and collaborative by using Google’s Cloud products, such as G Suite, and to
free companies from the overhead of managing infrastructure, provisioning
servers and configuring networks by using Google’s array of Cloud platform products.
You will work in
a team with Sales Representatives supporting Google Cloud’s strategic customers
and prospects. You will gain exposure to different parts of the Cloud Sales
process through a variety of support responsibilities, including cultivating
leads, coordinating partner efforts, and processing documents. You will help
develop engagement plans for acquiring new accounts, including analyzing data,
identifying client opportunities, and determining key decision makers for the
Sales team to speak with. You will engage contacts from prospective client
organizations and set up meetings for the Sales team to further discuss how
Google Cloud can be a valuable part of their business strategy.

Responsibilities
·
Assist
multiple Field Sales Representatives and pods with sales support activities,
including cultivating leads, identifying key client decision makers, processing
contracts, coordinating partner efforts, and scheduling meetings.

Contribute
to account/territory strategy by performing internal and external research to
identify opportunities and challenges.
·
Prepare
customer proposals and account plans to support the sales cycle.
·
Analyze
customer and industry data to provide key business insights, prepare Customer
Business Reviews and help identify ways in which Google Cloud can transform
their business through defined insights.

Support
pipeline building activities by actively engaging with leads and supporting
planning of customer events.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
·
BA/BS
degree or equivalent practical experience.
·
Must
be able to start in January or February 2018.
·
Individuals
applying for this position will not be eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
·
Previous
experience or internships in sales, customer support, account management,
marketing or consulting.
·
Interest
in technology and cloud computing, including Google Cloud products (G-Suite,
Google Cloud Platform).
·
Ability
to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving
team environment.
·
Proven
ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
·
Goal-oriented,
self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial
mindset.
